As a Client Engagement & Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in representing our brand and mission—to foster a sense of belonging, confidence, and empowerment within our community. You will be the primary point of contact for prospective and current clients, ensuring a seamless experience from initial inquiry to long-term membership. This role is ideal for someone who excels in customer relations, sales, and community engagement, with the flexibility to work in the studio, and occasionally work remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Outreach & Sales
- Effectively communicate our mission and values to clients, leads, and the wider
community.
- Explain the Vertica Manifesto and V101 trial class to prospective clients.
- Proactively contact leads to schedule free introductory classes.
- Convert leads into members through persuasive sales conversations, particularly for trial classes and follow-up calls.
- Follow up with prospects who did not attend their scheduled intro class and assist in rebooking.
- Conduct targeted outreach throughout a client’s journey to ensure engagement and retention.
Client Communication & Support
- Provide timely responses to client inquiries across multiple platforms, including email, social media (Mighty Network, Facebook, Messenger, Instagram), and other available channels.
- Make reminder calls for scheduled V101 trial sessions on the day of class.
- Send reminder texts for V101 classes the day before and the day of.
- Send personalized and mass email or text invitations to V101 sessions, including booking
links.
- Contact clients with outstanding account balances on a regular basis.
- Assist clients with questions about the studio, apps, processes, and policies.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns in a professional and friendly manner.
Marketing & Community Engagement
- Help administer seasonal marketing campaigns and send mass emails/texts inviting clients to events and workshops.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating studio events, promotions, and community-building initiatives.
- Ensure a VIP-level customer experience for our pole-loving community.
Administrative & Support Duties
- Check in V101 candidates and complete membership payments after class.
- Manage the post date transactions and convert in a timely manner.
- Utilize the Trello board for ongoing communication and daily management, guidance and direction.
- Office maintenance as needed: empty and replace trash, refill bath supplies, towels, mop/vacuum floors, clean glass windows, refill alcohol bottles.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong sales and customer service skills with the ability to convert leads into members.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Experience in handling client inquiries through multiple platforms, including social media and email.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage follow-ups and outreach efficiently.
- Passionate about community-building and fostering a welcoming environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:
- $15/ hour starting + Commission
- Estimated 15-25 hours per week
