***THIS IS AN AWAKE OVERNIGHT POSITION***
Night Shift Caregiver is needed for a small, assisted living facility.
Must:
1. Be familiar with current assisted living regulations.
2. Have PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT:
a. Training certificates for the Maryland COMAR Staff and Cognitive Impairment Training.
b. CPR/First Aid certification
c. Health Clearance Statement from a Health Care Provider
d. Negative TB Test Verification
e. 3 letters of reference
f. MMR/Varicella vaccine verification
g. Certified Nursing Assistant verified by the Maryland Board of Nursing
3. Complete a Background check once hired.
4. Be able to prepare and serve American dishes.
5. Be a hard worker and able to work as part of a team.
6. Have experience as a Caregiver.
7. Have authorization to work in the United States.
8. Have immediate availability.
Duties:
1. Personal Care
2. Sitting with residents to monitor for fall risk
3. Charting or taking notes for others to review
4. Reporting changes in the health or status of the client
5. Providing companionship and supportive listening
6. Redirect dementia resident
7. Responding to emergency situations
8. Light housekeeping / laundry / cleaning
Frequency needed:
Daily
Work nights / NO SLEEPING / 10 PM – 6 AM
Able to drive between 2 facilities in the Temple Hills, MD area (Must Have OWN Transportation)
