Job Summary
The Warehouse Keeper is responsible for managing daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate material handling, efficient inbound and outbound processes, inventory accuracy, compliance with company procedures, and adherence to safety standards. This role supports production and project execution through effective warehouse management, material control, and coordination with internal teams. The position requires frequent travel to project sites across various states as business needs dictate.
Key Responsibilities
- Become familiar with company warehouse management procedures, receiving and shipping processes, and ERP/WMS system operations.
- Manage material classification, inventory control activities, stock accuracy, and 5S warehouse organization practices.
- Maintain a high level of safety awareness and ensure warehouse operations comply with company safety standards and procedures.
- Achieve key performance indicators, including inventory accuracy, inbound receiving accuracy, and on time delivery performance.
- Execute daily warehouse activities, including receiving, inspection, labeling, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventory audits.
- Ensure all warehouse transactions are properly documented and accurately recorded in the ERP/WMS system.
- Coordinate with production, project management, procurement, and logistics teams to support operational requirements.
- Maintain warehouse equipment in good working condition and promptly report any issues or abnormalities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
- Travel to project sites and company locations in other states as required to support project execution, material management, inventory control, and logistics activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or higher; associate degree preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Chinese is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, or material handling preferred.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic computer proficiency; experience with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
- Must be willing and able to travel occasionally to project sites and company locations throughout the United States.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move materials in accordance with company safety guidelines.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform warehouse activities for extended periods.
- Ability to work in warehouse and project site environments as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
