We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Carpenter / PEMB Erector to join our field crew. While our core business focuses on erecting Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB)—including structural steel assembly, metal roofing, and wall sheathing—we are looking to expand our self-perform capabilities.
In this role, you will be a versatile asset to our team. You will work on the exterior structural shell of our buildings, and handle a variety of standard commercial carpentry and finish tasks. Job Responsibilities:
- PEMB assembly: Assist in the safe erection of pre-engineered metal buildings, including primary and structural members.
- Wall and Roofing Panels: Install metal wall & roof panels, vapor barriers, insulation, and associated trim/flashing.
- Framing & Cladding: Execute interior wood and metal stud framing, and install various architectural cladding and commercial siding materials.
- General Commercial Carpentry:
- Install commercial doors, frames, and hardware.
- Set vinyl/aluminum window frames and install exterior/interior trim.
- Install backing and bathroom partitions/accessories.
- Site Safety & Quality: Maintain a clean, organized job site and strictly adhere to all OSHA and company safety protocols.
Job Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in commercial carpentry, steel erection, or PEMB assembly preferred.
- We are willing to provide on-site training for the right candidate(s)
- Ability to transition smoothly between heavy metal building assembly and detailed commercial carpentry.
- Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and shop drawings.
- Ability to work safely at heights, lift up to 75 lbs, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Proficiency with standard carpentry hand/power tools.
- Experience operating aerial lifts, telehandlers, and rigging equipment preferred.
- Strong work ethic, punctual attendance, and reliable transportation to local job sites.
- Have your own complete set of tool bags (including tape measure, speed square, hammer, chalk line, tin snips, etc.) All other tools provided.

Job Type: Full-time
- Monday-Friday, 9-hour+ shifts, home every night, and paid weekly. We do work through winter.
