Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards and health regulations
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, billing, and cash handling efficiently
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest seasonal or signature drinks to keep the menu fresh and exciting
- Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; place orders as needed to ensure stock availability
- Uphold responsible alcohol service by checking IDs, recognizing signs of intoxication, and adhering to all legal requirements
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender with knowledge of cocktail mixing, wine service, brewing techniques, and beverage recipe development
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; strong cash handling skills
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures in a hospitality setting
- Experience working in fine dining or upscale venues is highly desirable; banquet or catering experience is a plus
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding for sales transactions, and inventory management
