The Peach Cobbler Factory Katy is looking for an energetic, dependable, motivated, and customer-focused Lead/Shift Supervisor to join our team!
As a Lead/Shift Supervisor, you will help oversee daily operations, provide excellent customer service, support team members, and ensure all company standards are met during your shift.
Lead/Shift Supervisor Qualifications
- Previous leadership, supervisor, food service, restaurant, and customer experience.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to help guide a team.
- Ability to work mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to stay calm and organized during busy hours.
- Ability to bend, carry, and lift objects weighing up to 20 pounds, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to lead by example.
- Strong work ethic, integrity, and reliability.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability.
- Basic math and food safety knowledge.
Lead/Shift Supervisor Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate team members during assigned shifts.
- Open and close the store according to company procedures.
- Assist with training and coaching employees.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns.
- Ensure food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards are maintained.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs.
- Maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
- Communicate effectively with customers, fellow team members, and management.
- Prep, bake, and follow recipes to our quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized workspace (kitchen, dining, restrooms).
Job Duties
Leadership & Supervision
- Direct and supervise shift staff.
- Assign tasks fairly and ensure completion.
- Enforce bakery policies, dress code, and safety procedures.
- Train and mentor employees on bakery standards.
- Hold staff accountable for performance, behavior, and policies.
Operations & Production
- Oversee baking, decorating, packaging, and preparation for the day and next day.
- Ensure recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards are followed.
- Monitor product levels and restock as needed.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products before storage or display.
- Track waste and report discrepancies.
Customer Service
- Ensure all customers are greeted and served professionally.
- Handle complaints or special requests quickly and professionally.
- Communicate order issues or delays to customers and management.
- Support special requests such as catering pickups or large pre-orders.
Safety & Cleanliness
- Enforce food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Ensure equipment and workstations are cleaned and shut down properly.
- Follow all checklists provided.
- Secure premises at end of shift (doors locked, alarms set, equipment off).
Administrative
- Communicate staff performance and shift concerns to management.
- Assist with scheduling, staffing adjustments, and coverage for unexpected call-outs.
