This onsite position spans the full academic year—from August 2026 through June 2027—and offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in a close-knit elementary setting. You'll work full-time with a focused caseload of 40 students, ranging from Pre-K through 8th grade, allowing you to provide dedicated attention and impactful intervention.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license and eligibility to work in a school setting
- CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
- Experience with pediatric populations and school-based speech therapy
- Strong foundation in conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and delivering targeted therapy
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to students onsite
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and prepare treatment plans
- Support development of communication skills, including articulation, language, voice, and fluency
- Document all services and progress in accordance with school procedures
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student IEP development
- Consult and collaborate with educators and caregivers to reinforce skills and strategies in the classroom
