Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning and hospitality, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for guests and maintaining the overall appearance of our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Carry out floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained in accordance with safety standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with laundry services as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitation to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Requirements
- Flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Proven experience in cleaning roles such as housekeeping management, janitorial experience, or industrial cleaning.
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and practices is preferred; hotel experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated time frames.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as required during cleaning tasks.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional service.
