Executive Chef | Palate & Gather Jackson Hole
We are seeking a strong, hands-on Executive Chef to oversee culinary leadership for two premier Jackson Hole restaurants — Palate and Gather Jackson Hole. This role is ideal for a chef who thrives in both high-level leadership and day-to-day kitchen execution, with a passion for food quality, team development, consistency, and operational excellence.
You will be responsible for leading culinary operations across both locations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance, and maintaining the highest standards in food execution, cleanliness, organization, and kitchen culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all BOH culinary operations for Palate and Gather Jackson Hole
- Lead, train, and develop sous chefs, line cooks, prep cooks, and kitchen leadership
- Drive consistency in food quality, plating, execution, and guest experience
- Manage labor, food cost, inventory, purchasing, and kitchen profitability
- Build strong systems around prep, organization, cleanliness, and accountability
- Collaborate with ownership, GMs, and leadership team on menus, specials, events, and operational improvements
- Oversee execution of regular service, private dining, weddings, and high-volume event operations
- Ensure kitchens operate with strong communication, urgency, and professionalism
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven Executive Chef
- Experience leading multi-outlet kitchens, high-volume service, or event-driven operations
- Strong background in upscale casual, fine dining, or elevated hospitality
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for mentoring teams and building strong kitchen culture
- Financially disciplined with strong labor and food cost understanding
- Ability to lead by example and stay hands-on when needed

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
