PS Companies is working with a local department to find a Temporary Litter Nuisance Inspectors to support the city. This position will be traveling throughout the following assigned daily routes, documenting litter violations and issuing citations. Full training on violations to identify and procedures to follow will be provided.
Applicants will be using their own vehicles but will be reimbursed monthly for mileage. A current, valid driver's license and vehicle insurance will be required.
Pay rate: $18.00 per hour.
Essential Responsibilities Include:
· Skill in talking and interacting with a wide variety of people including citizens, coworkers, supervisors, and elected city officials.
· Ability to read and interpret City of Milwaukee codes and ordinances.
· Ability to deal tactfully with citizens and public officials.
· Ability to diffuse confrontational customers when dealing with sanitation issues.
· Ability to read and interpret street maps.
· Ability to work independently and make appropriate decisions.
· Proficiency with personal computer operations and I-pad/tablets
· Ability to effectively manage time.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year of related job experience and or training
Work Schedule: 40 hr/wk @ 8 hr/day Monday-Friday
