Fleet Manager
ARR Construction is seeking a full-time Fleet Manager to join our team.
· The Fleet Manager will be responsible for coordinating all the daily workflow of the shop while working closely with the shop mechanics to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.
· This leadership role combines diagnosing, repairing and maintaining diesel trucks, trailers and heavy machinery with overseeing daily shop operations.
· Understands and adheres to DOT, OSHA, IFTA and FMCSA regulations
· Prioritize repair requests based on operational needs, coordinate preventative maintenance schedules and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems to ensure repairs are completed with a high standard of workmanship and safety.
· Serve as a primary point of contact for any breakdowns
· Communicate with vendors for pricing, order tracking, returns and warranties.
· Maintain accurate service documentation and reporting
Requirements
· Exceptional knowledge of truck and equipment maintenance
· Commercial vehicle inspection certification (DOT) or willing to obtain
· Excellent communication skills
· Valid driver’s license and CDL
