MEDICAL SCRIBE JOB OPENING
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE AS A MEDICAL SCRIBE
We are seeking an experienced Spanish-Speaking Medical Scribe to join our busy and growing Gastroenterology practice serving patients in Rancho Cucamonga and San Bernardino. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working as a medical scribe, possess strong medical terminology knowledge, and be proficient with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and fast, accurate typing. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with providers in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Accurately document patient encounters in real time during office visits and procedures.
- Enter patient history, physical examinations, assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up information into the EMR.
- Assist physicians by ensuring complete and accurate medical documentation.
- Review charts for completeness and compliance.
- Update patient records, medication lists, and medical histories.
- Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform other administrative and clinical documentation duties as assigned.
