Griffin Health is currently seeking a Per Diem Chaplain to join our Spiritual Care and Education Department. The ideal candidate will bring a compassionate, interfaith approach to spiritual care for our diverse patient and staff community and contribute meaningfully to our mission of person-centered care.
The Chaplain will provide Interfaith spiritual care to patients, families, and staff across the hospital under the guidance of the Director of Spiritual Care and Education. Responsibilities include:
Delivering direct spiritual support in a professional and compassionate manner.
Leading and facilitating spirituality and support groups, as well as additional programming as assigned.
Supporting community outreach, program development, and building partnerships within and beyond Griffin Health.
Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of all services provided.
Performing both in-hospital and on-call chaplaincy shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Offering clerical support and demonstrating computer literacy for administrative responsibilities.
Compassionate presence and emotional maturity.
Flexibility and willingness to serve in a per diem/on-call capacity, including weekends.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
