Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Experience with POS systems and a passion for the food industry are highly valued. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and wine or beverage pairings to assist guests effectively
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality excellence
- Ability to manage time efficiently during busy service periods
- Experience in food handling, sanitation, and basic math for cash handling or cashiering tasks
- Background in food preparation or kitchen experience is a plus but not required
- Prior host/host experience or serving roles that involve guest relations will be advantageous
