We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator/Fitter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and fitting metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the successful assembly of structural and mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that require mechanical knowledge, and a keen eye for detail.
- Duties
- Perform welding techniques to join various metals with high quality.
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components.
- Measure materials accurately using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure proper fit and alignment.
- Fabricate sheet metal components, ductwork, piping, and structural elements following codes & standards.
- Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely for material handling and assembly tasks on construction/Landfill sites.
- Read schematics and mechanical drawings to guide assembly processes while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
