Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating the right automotive parts and accessories efficiently.
- Provide expert advice on vehicle systems, automotive repair, and maintenance to support customer decisions.
- Manage inventory control by stocking, organizing, and tracking parts using inventory management systems and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Process sales transactions accurately through POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash, credit, or electronic payments with professionalism.
- Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely order fulfillment and proper parts availability for repairs or upgrades.
- Maintain organized records of sales, stock levels, and customer interactions to support efficient operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive parts sales or dealership environments with a solid understanding of automotive repair processes.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills combined with automotive diagnostics knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with inventory management software such as CMMS.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and manage retail math for accurate pricing and stock control.
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, cashiering, and retail sales procedures.
- Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories, vehicle systems, and automotive service standards.
- Organizational skills to manage stock levels, order fulfillment, and maintain a clean work environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced retail setting while providing outstanding customer service.
