Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough intake assessments to determine clients’ needs and develop personalized support plans
- Provide immediate crisis intervention and crisis management to individuals experiencing mental health emergencies
- Offer peer support through mentoring, motivational interviewing, and behavioral health coaching to foster hope and recovery
- Collaborate with clinical teams to coordinate care, ensuring seamless referrals and service delivery
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions using electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Educate clients on available resources, addiction counseling options, and community support services
- Support clients in developing coping strategies and building resilience through empathetic listening and guidance
Qualifications
- Proven experience or training in crisis intervention, crisis management, or behavioral health support
- Strong knowledge of mental health counseling techniques, addiction counseling, and social work principles
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and mentor diverse populations
- Familiarity with EHR systems for documentation and case management
- Certification or training in motivational interviewing is highly desirable
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism, compassion, and confidentiality
- Prior experience working in mental health or social services is preferred

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
