We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our innovative team. Duties
- Lead comprehensive requirements analysis to identify business needs and translate them into technical specifications for system design and development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including software developers, systems engineers, and business stakeholders—to architect scalable solutions utilizing Service-oriented architecture (SOA) and solution architecture principles.
- Oversee the integration of diverse systems such as Salesforce, Pegasystems, and other enterprise platforms through robust systems integration techniques.
- Design and implement data workflows using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure accurate data migration and synchronization across database systems like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Manage software development life cycle (SDLC) activities including configuration management, version control, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Provide technical troubleshooting support for system issues related to operating systems (Windows, Linux), network configurations (VPN, DNS, DHCP), firewalls, load balancing, and cloud security protocols on platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Facilitate system architecture reviews and recommend improvements for system hardening, vulnerability management, threat intelligence integration, and overall information security posture.
Skills
- Extensive experience with enterprise solutions implementation across diverse platforms such as Salesforce, Pegasystems, JavaScript frameworks (React Express), C#, Java, Python, Ruby on Rails, and.NET technologies.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components including virtualization (VMware, ESXi), container orchestration (Kubernetes), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), DevOps practices, and system administration.
- Proficiency in database systems—SQL-based (T-SQL, PL/SQL) as well as NoSQL solutions—along with scripting languages such as Bash Unix Shell Scripts and Shell Scripting for automation tasks.
- Expertise in system design principles encompassing microservices architecture, RESTful APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), SOAP web services, system architecture frameworks, and application development best practices.
- Knowledge of cloud computing environments including AWS services like EC2 instances, VPCs (Virtual Private Clouds), load balancers; Azure platform; cloud security measures; VPNs; firewalls; DNS; DHCP; GPO (Group Policy Objects); system hardening; vulnerability assessment; threat intelligence; and system hardening techniques.
- Familiarity with network protocols such as RESTful API standards; web services; DNS management; TCP/IP stack; DHCP configuration; VPN setup; firewall rules; load balancing strategies; DNS management; GPO policies; SDLC methodologies including Agile practices; version control tools like Git; Jenkins for automation pipelines; WDS for deployment services; T-SQL scripting for database management.
- Strong analytical skills in business analysis—requirements gathering & analysis—and translating complex technical concepts into clear documentation for stakeholders.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills to facilitate collaboration among technical teams and business units effectively.
