We are currently seeking a dedicated Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, transportation planning, and fleet management. If you have a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you.
The Dispatcher in a trucking company plays a crucial role in coordinating the movement of trucks, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining effective communication with drivers. This position involves real-time monitoring, problem-solving, and utilizing communication tools to optimize routes and schedules.

Qualifications

Regular on-site attendance is a requirement of the position.

Minimum of 2 years Dispatch/Safety experience (i.e.: scheduling trucks and trailers for a load, making sure jobs are completed in their entirety, effectively communicating with drivers and customers) is a requirement.

Must have reliable transportation.

Must have experience managing and working with others in a team environment.

Must be familiar with roadway navigation

Must have advanced communication and organizational skills.

Must have the ability to adjust to last minute changes in a fast paced environment.

Must be able to use practical judgement when decision making and resolve operational or delivery issues in a timely manner.

Must be a team player who takes initiative in the work environment.

Must understand DOT regulations.
Responsibilities
Including but not limited to:

Will receive numerous calls from drivers and customers.

Will be responsible for driver and dispatch efficiency and meeting customer expectations.

Will be a reliable point of contact for drivers.

Will need to ensure that all trips/loads/jobs are recorded in the appropriate system with accuracy.

Will ensure that the company meets all customer requirements and any changes are communicated immediately.

Will need to stay in communication with drivers to ensure trip/load/job is being performed appropriately and as planned.

Will need to ensure that drivers have all of the required information and the proper instructions to perform their duties correctly, on time, and safely.

Must be well organized and maintain a clean working desk.

Must review and maintain Driver Files and Safety Logs.
