Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable CDL A Driver to join our team on a part-time, as-needed basis . This role primarily involves driving company trucks to and from event venues to which we deliver our Audio, Video, Lighting gear for live event production.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company CDL vehicles to transport equipment to/from venues.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections: check vehicles to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order; report any issues to the location manager.
- Assist with load securement and basic maintenance checks.
- Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required.
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to vehicles.
- Work collaboratively with production crew and warehouse staff.
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations.
- Follow schedules and routes as assigned.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL A License with clean driving record.
- Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to travel nationwide for multi-day assignments.
- Ability to meet specific delivery and pickup times as scheduled.
- Must pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol testing and participate in the company’s random Drug & Alcohol testing pool.
- Must follow all company driver policies and procedures.
- Professional, punctual, and safety focused.
- Must be comfortable working in a live event environment.
Schedule:
- Variable, based on event schedule.
- Mix of drive days and travel/fly days.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
