As a Registered Nurse Weekend Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents, while fostering a positive and supportive work environment for our team members.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care on weekends
- Conduct rounds to assess patient care and provide guidance to staff as needed
- Develop and implement effective care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Provide education to staff and residents on various topics, including resident rights, medication management, and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports, adhering to regulatory standards and West Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center policies
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and other leaders to identify and address staffing needs, as well as develop and implement staffing strategies to ensure optimal care delivery
