Position Summary
As a Cashier/Runner/Busser, you are responsible for supporting both the guest experience and overall flow of the restaurant.
This includes greeting guests, taking orders at the counter, delivering food to tables, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment.
Success in this role requires strong communication, a positive attitude, and the ability to stay composed during busy service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide a welcoming first impression
- Take orders accurately and efficiently at the counter
- Guide guests through the menu and make recommendations
- Run food to tables quickly and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including bussing and resetting tables
- Assist with stocking, organization, and general front-of-house upkeep
- Support team members to ensure smooth service during high-volume periods
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This position works in a restaurant environment and includes:
- Exposure to high temperatures and cold conditions in walk-ins
- Frequent contact with water, cleaning solutions, and common allergens (nuts, citrus, gluten, dairy)
- Extended standing and walking
- Bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motion
- Use of POS systems and equipment requiring manual dexterity
- Ability to communicate clearly and maintain awareness of surroundings for safety
