Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a team of hospitality staff, including servers, bussers, and food runners, to deliver outstanding service throughout the event.
- Oversee guest interactions, ensuring personalized attention and prompt resolution of any concerns or special requests.
- Manage food and beverage service operations, including setup, presentation, and breakdown, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with culinary teams to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages, maintaining quality and presentation excellence.
- Supervise the handling of food safety protocols, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation practices in compliance with health regulations.
- Support event logistics such as catering arrangements, banquet setups, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the food industry with strong culinary knowledge and guest services background.
- Prior banquet or fine dining experience demonstrating excellent serving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and food preparation techniques.
- Experience working with POS systems and managing customer transactions efficiently.
- Exceptional guest relations skills with a friendly, energetic approach to service delivery.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments requiring quick thinking and adaptability during high-profile events.
- Hotel or restaurant experience is highly desirable; experience in catering or large-scale events is a plus.
- Knowledge of wine service, beverage pairing, and coffee service enhances your suitability for this role.
- Strong communication skills coupled with a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences are essential.
