Oversees the administration of respiratory care to patients on his/her assigned shift. Provides support and direction for staff as needed. Responsible for orientating and mentoring all new and present employees. Assist with the development and revision of policies and procedures. Will assist supervisors with all Quality Improvement initiatives, provide in-services on all new equipment and assist with home noninvasive patient teaching. Assists manager with eProcurement and charge reconciliation.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Conveys all RCP therapies-initial and changes-to appropriate staff members and documents same in departmental records
Performs miscellaneous job duties as assigned including occasionally accompanying a patient during transport to another facility.
What qualifications you will need:

Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

(NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist

(RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner
