Big Chief Tire is Jacksonville’s longest standing, locally owned, tire an automotive dealer. Big Chief Tire has been owned and operated by the Parman family since 1961.
As Big Chief Tire continues to grow in Jacksonville, we are looking for great managers to grow with us.
Job Responsibilities include:
Creating a positive store environment for all employees you oversee
Opening and closing the store daily
Serving customers by evaluating their vehicles and making recommendations based on their needs

Managing all customer interactions with a customer-first approach
Handling all employee issues within your store. We believe this approach is best served by regularly communicating with all employees you interact with, and providing them with feedback and expectations. Employee issues include:
- Hiring
- Firing
- Promoting
- Disciplining
Maintaining appropriate tire/part inventory levels
Generating high sales volume in a fast paced, customer centered environment
Applicant Requirements:
- Driver’s License
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Ability to lift 40+ lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
Regular Schedule:
Monday - Friday 7:30-5:30
Weekends - CLOSED. ALWAYS
Strong applicant will likely have:
- Automotive management experience
- "Hands on" Automotive skills
- Retail management experience
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to adapt to new technologies
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
