Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and professional Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, and the successful candidate will possess strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail.
Duties
- Greet and welcome patients and families in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Schedule appointments. Answering phones in a professional manor.
- Perform documentation review to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
- Maintain office organization by filing documents, managing supplies, and ensuring a clean workspace.
- Assist with medical collections and billing processes as needed.
- Communicate effectively using medical terminology to assist patients with their inquiries.
Skills
- Proficient in medical office practices with experience in a medical setting preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact effectively with patients and providers.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Epic or similar software is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
