LabelMill is looking for an individual to add to their team! An additional position is currently available for a Machine Assembler / Technician. Technical schooling in this area is preferred, but not required. Position is open until filled.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Assemble machine components by interpreting manufacturing drawings
- Actively participate in continuous improvement to meet and exceed customer expectations
- Prioritize daily work to ensure customer delivery is met
- Review manufacturing drawings and verify product specification using measuring equipment such as Calipers & Micrometers
- Use simple hand tools and use basic computer skills
- Basic Math & Measurement
- Properly complete required paperwork and maintain inventory
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with staff members
Optional Additional Duties:
- Answering and managing incoming phone support inquiries
- Occasional travel to support installations or technical support
Qualifications:
- Technical Certificate or Degree, preferred
- 1-3 years experience working in a technical field, preferred
- Ability to use tools and use basic computer skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to draw and interpret sketches.
- Proven track record maintaining a positive attitude towards team members and the organization
- Experience effectively functioning in a team environment
- Problem solving skill set
- Ability to pass any pre-employment screenings
Prior experience is preferred, but not required.
