We are currently seeking experienced welders to join structural fabrication shop in Lakeland, FL. Candidates will be required to pass a tig, stick, and flux core test. This is a full-time position for dependable individuals who take pride in producing high-quality work and maintaining a safe work environment.

Candidate will travel across FL and working on different work sites with a crew. A good MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) is a plus but not required. Per diem is provided and flexible availability is ideal since some job sites will require to work overnight.
Job Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications to accurately fabricate and assemble metal structures.
- Perform high-quality MIG, TIG, and Flux Core welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other materials as required.
- Measure, cut, fit, and prepare materials before welding, ensuring proper alignment and dimensional accuracy.
- Grind, clean, and finish welds to meet company and customer quality standards.
- Inspect completed welds for structural integrity, appearance, and compliance with project specifications.
- Safely operate welding equipment, grinders, torches, hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment.
- Assist with the installation, repair, and modification of metal structures and equipment at customer job sites.
- Load, unload, organize, and transport tools, materials, and equipment needed for each project.
- Travel to various job sites throughout Florida as needed. Candidates should be comfortable with overnight travel when required. Per diem is provided for qualifying travel assignments.
Skills Needed:
- 2 years experience in mig, stick, and tig in structural work.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and ASME or AWS standards.
- Able to work overnight when needed.
- Able to pass a tig, flux core, and stick weld test.
Monday to Friday
$20 to $25 to start
6am to 3pm
Overnight will be required depending on the assigned project.
