Job Summary:
Knik Heating is seeking an assistant to the lead HVAC Installer. This position is responsible for assisting the lead installer in the installation of residential heating, plumbing, and cooling equipment. The lead HVAC Installer and the install assistant will work closely with the company’s management team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standard of quality.
This is a full-time position. Our regular business hours are Monday - Friday with start times varying by the job, and each day’s meeting requirements. This position is ideal for a candidate that is interested in pursuing a lifelong career in the HVAC industry. There are career enhancement opportunities available based on performance and qualification. We are looking for a motivated team player who is equipped with a desire to learn!

Minimum Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age, or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. (NO DUI's)
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
- Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented approach.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, and their operation.
- Must be team oriented and work well with others.
- Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
- Must be timely, organized, and reliable.
Beneficial Skills / Certifications:
- EPA certification for handling refrigerants is a plus.
- Vocational training, or HVAC certification is a plus.
- Previous field experience in the HVAC industry.
