American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a STICU Days position requiring TNCC certification and prior trauma ICU experience.

Work in the Trauma Intensive Care Unit of a Level II Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center
-
8-bed unit caring for Adult Trauma patients
-
Patient population includes post-surgical management for General Surgery, Vascular Surgery (Carotid, etc.), and Neuro Surgery cases
-
Patient ratio ranges from 1:1 to 1:3

Day shift schedule from 06:45 to 19:15
-
13-week assignment length
-
Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand

Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and TNCC

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required

Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start

Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Provide critical care nursing to trauma, post-surgical, vascular, and neuro surgery patients

Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates to be considered at a reduced rate

Candidates should begin discussing assignment extension with their manager approximately 45 days before the end date
