Job Summary
We are looking for a part-time bartender to add to our team! The bartender is responsible for serving and mixing drinks while maintaining a positive attitude and excellent customer service.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service throughout the experience.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using Toast POS. Prior experience with toast is preferred but not required.
- Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and pairings to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including bussing tables and managing sanitation practices.
- Ability to manage working the service well and taking care of bar guests.
- Assist with cash handling, including processing payments accurately through the POS system.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines in accordance with health department standards.
Qualifications
- At least 1+ year of experience as a full service restaurant employee is required.
- Familiarity with Toast POS is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant's operating hours.
- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and sake is preferred but not required.

Pay: $15.00 - $60.00 per hour
