- Home-Based Flexibility: This is a home-based position, meaning you’ll be making an impact where it matters most – in the child’s natural environment. The role requires a personal vehicle for travel to client homes in Quincy, MA and surrounding towns.
Position Overview: BBLC is seeking compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technicians to provide early intervention services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We offer on-the-job training for those with a passion for working with children, and encourage individuals from diverse backgrounds (nannies, babysitters, teachers, childcare providers, paraprofessionals) to apply. Ideal candidate will have Full-time WEEKDAY availability, 8:30am-5:30pm
**THIS IS A HOME-BASED POSITION THAT REQUIRES A PERSONAL VEHICLE**
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Foster independence and promote life skills, including social skills, hygiene, daily living skills, and motor skills.
- Implement treatment and behavior plans designed by Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA).
- Support and communicate effectively with families, RBTs, BCBA, and other team members to ensure each child’s needs are met.
- Use technology (tablet/computer) to collect data for analysis and progress tracking.
- Be proactive in your communication with the team and families.
Requirements:
- A passion for working with children and making a positive impact on their lives!
- An Associate's or Bachelor’s degree is required by the state of MA, preferably one in Human Services, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- At least 6 months of experience working with children (e.g., nannying, babysitting, teaching, childcare, paraprofessional, etc.) and/or individuals with developmental disabilities or other special needs.
- Personal vehicle is required for travel to clients’ homes.
