Lynchburg Garage Door is seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Commercial Door Installer / Service Technician to join our growing team. Position Responsibilities
· Install, service, and repair commercial overhead doors and operators
· Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
· Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
· Work with commercial doors, operators, dock equipment, and related systems
· Communicate professionally with customers on job sites
· Follow company safety procedures and job documentation processes
· Occasional overnight travel may be required
Qualifications
· Strong mechanical aptitude required
· Experience with commercial doors preferred
· Experience with loading dock equipment is a plus
· Welding, electrical, or low-voltage experience is beneficial
· Ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights
· Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
· Dependable, motivated, and willing to learn
