Hazleton Area School District Position
Daylight Hours (6:30-2:30)- Monday-Friday- No evenings- No Weekends- No Holidays-Summers Off (10 Month Position)
About the Job: Hazleton Area School District Manager
This position will be working in a local school kitchen/cafeteria.
Duties may include:
- Cooking and food preparation
- Portioning and serving
- Utilizing Register
- Sanitation in conjunction with USDA and state guidelines
- HACCP and health department regulation compliance
- Assisting to monitor costs and inventory controls
- Placing Orders/Purchasing
- Production Records
- Conducting Inventory
- Daily cash reconciliation and deposits
Qualifications:
- The ability to obtain clearances and pass criminal background checks
- Previous experience in food service, ordering, management, and cooking.
- A positive and consistent work ethic
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- A willingness to learn and grow within your position
- Computer literacy preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Physical Requirements May Include:
- Standing for periods of time
- Sitting, pushing, pulling
- Lifting up to and in excess of 40lbs
- Walking
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 per hour
