Ridi Stores is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. This position will support our accounting department with day-to-day bookkeeping, invoice verification, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and general office responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have previous accounting or bookkeeping experience, be comfortable working with QuickBooks and Excel, and have strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Enter journal entries accurately
- Verify invoice pricing, quantities, and costs for accuracy
- Review credit card transactions, deposits, and processing fees for accuracy
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end activities
- Track and reconcile contract rebates
- Assist with spreadsheets, reports, and other accounting-related projects
- Answer phones and provide excellent customer service
- File, scan, organize, and maintain office records
- Provide administrative and accounting support to the team as needed
Qualifications
- QuickBooks experience required
- Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience required
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable and professional
