Job Summary
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Night Auditor, where you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless overnight operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, providing friendly and efficient customer service through multi-line phone systems and in-person interactions.
- Perform nightly audits of hotel accounts using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA, ensuring all transactions are accurate and properly documented.
- Manage reservations, check-ins, and check-outs with precision, utilizing hospitality reservation systems to update guest information promptly.
- Monitor security cameras, conduct property inspections, and follow hotel emergency procedures to ensure safety and security throughout the property.
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and financial summaries to maintain accurate records of overnight activities.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns proactively, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate guest requests, resolve issues efficiently, and uphold the hotel’s reputation for outstanding service.
Experience
- Prior experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or similar platforms, is essential for performing nightly audits effectively.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for communicating with diverse guest populations.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest services protocols, and customer service problem-solving techniques is required.
- Previous experience working with multi-line phone systems, resort settings, or in a night audit role will set candidates apart.
- Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—are necessary to handle client interactions professionally via phone etiquette and face-to-face engagement.
