If you're in public accounting and generally enjoy tax, but have started wondering whether your current firm is really the place you want to spend the next few years, this could be worth a conversation.
I'm working with a well-established CPA firm in Cleveland that has built a great reputation. They have a strong and varied client base, and a leadership team that invests in its people.
The work is varied. You'll be working with a range of business clients, plenty of partnership returns, and the sort of tax work that keeps things interesting rather than feeling like you're stuck on repeat.
You'll have client contact too. This isn't one of those roles where you're hidden away preparing returns all day. They want people who enjoy building relationships.
They're ideally looking for a CPA, but if you're currently a Senior who's working towards it, apply anyway.
And yes, busy season is still busy. It's public accounting after all. But it's not the kind of environment where work becomes your entire life for four months of the year.
