An established national property management firm is seeking an experienced, versatile Facilities Maintenance Technician to oversee the physical operations and upkeep of a residential community in St. George, UT.

Core Responsibilities
- Turnover Management: Efficiently prepare vacant units for incoming residents, ensuring all painting, flooring/carpet touch-ups, and deep cleaning meet high company standards.
- System Diagnostics & Repairs: Troubleshoot and resolve daily work orders involving residential plumbing, basic electrical, carpentry, and household appliance diagnostics.
- Property Upkeep & Safety: Maintain the safety and visual appeal of the community, including grounds care, common area janitorial tasks, parking lot maintenance, and seasonal snow removal.
- Regulatory Readiness: Assist management with routine property audits and safety inspections, ensuring strict adherence to site health and safety standards.
- On-Call Availability: Willingness to handle urgent, after-hours emergency maintenance requests.
Candidate Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven background in residential, multifamily, or facilities maintenance.
- Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude with practical knowledge of general building trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC troubleshooting, and carpentry).
- Project Management: Ability to self-direct, prioritize multiple competing tasks, and collaborate effectively with the Property Manager to identify future capital improvements.
- Communication: Clear proficiency in English (both verbal and written) to interact with residents and management.
- Soft Skills: Strong customer service orientation and a professional demeanor when interacting with community members.
- Logistics: Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
