Help Build Futures Filled with Achievement, Dignity, Happiness, and Hope
Are you a caring, dedicated individual who wants to make a real difference every day? At Ädelbrook, we’ve spent over 125 years empowering children, young adults, and adults with autism and developmental disabilities to live lives full of possibility. We’re looking for Direct Care Workers to join our team—people who are passionate about supporting others in residential homes, school programs, and community-based settings.
This isn’t just a job—it’s a chance to inspire growth, foster independence, and help create safe, supportive environments where every person is valued and celebrated.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide daily care, encouragement, and skill-building support in residential and educational settings
- Assist with personal care, daily living routines, and fostering independence at home
- Support individuals in classrooms, activities, and community experiences that promote learning and inclusion
- Build meaningful, trusting relationships through compassion and respect
- Collaborate with teachers, clinicians, and teammates to create individualized care and learning plans
- Ensure a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where individuals can thrive
What You Bring:
- A compassionate heart and a commitment to person-centered care
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
- Reliability and a team-focused mindset
- Experience in direct care, residential programs, or education (preferred but not required—we provide full training!)
- The motivation to make a lasting impact in the lives of others
Why You’ll Love Working Here:
We believe in investing in the people who power our mission. At Ädelbrook, you’ll enjoy:
- Competitive Pay – Fair, market-aligned salaries with opportunities to grow
- Affordable Health Coverage – Medical, dental, and vision plans that fit your needs
- Health Savings Account (HSA) – Tax-free savings with employer contributions

- 403(b) Retirement Plan – With employer matching to help you plan for the future
- Tuition Reimbursement – Advance your education and expand your career
- Generous PTO – Vacation, sick leave, and holidays so you can rest and recharge
