A maintenance technician is responsible for checking equipment and performing routine maintenance. This includes repairing malfunctioning equipment. Core tasks include fixing broken plumbing, inspecting electrical systems, and doing routine maintenance on vehicles owned by the property.
A groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the grounds during all seasons. The range of duties includes lawn care, leaf and snow removal using a variety of tools, equipment and knowledge of various chemicals.
* Inspects the building, grounds, and equipment.
* Handles necessary repairs and maintenance.
* Follows local and state building codes.
* Complies with all company safety regulations.
* Keeps a maintenance log and writes down shift reports.
* Responds to maintenance requests in a timely fashion.
* Uses equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electrical tools, and plumbing tools.
Qualifications
- Ability to pass a background check
- Available to work any day of the week between 7 am to 3 pm
- Able to operate a variety of equipment and tools
- Able to lift 20-30 pounds
- Enjoy working outdoors in a variety of temperatures
- Extensive periods of sitting, standing and bending down during shift
- Ability to understand verbal directions and closely execute with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation to work
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.84 - $23.01 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
