Trickey Jennus is a growing advertising agency in Tampa with a hybrid remote/office work structure, looking for an experienced Media Manager/Account Planner to join our dynamic team.
Media Manager/Account Planner is responsible for leading the strategic planning, execution, optimization, and performance of integrated paid media campaigns across traditional and digital channels. This role collaborates closely with our digital team coordinating budget allocation and performance metrics, in addition to coordinating with the finance team to maintain financial accuracy and accountability. Client engagement is a key part of the position, with regular client meetings, virtually and in person. The Media Planner/Buyer reports directly to the Media Manager/Account Planner.
Desired Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, preferably Marketing or Advertising
- Deep expertise across traditional media channels including broadcast television, radio, print, and out-of-home advertising
- Strong experience with digital and programmatic media, including CTV, display, video, native, and audience targeting platforms
- Exceptional communication, presentation, organizational, and client management skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Experience managing direct reports and leading cross-functional teams
- Skilled at managing annual media budgets exceeding $5 million
- Proficiency with Nielsen Scarborough, Strata (or other media buying program), and Domo (or comparable data visualization dashboard)
- Familiarity with Workamajig (or similar project management system), and major programmatic platforms
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of integrated, cross-channel media plans that support client business goals and marketing objectives.
- Leverage media resources to analyze market trends, consumer behavior, media consumption habits, competitive activity, and industry data to inform strategic recommendations as well as evaluate new media opportunities.
- Maintain strong relationships with media partners to negotiate competitive pricing, added value, and strategic opportunities that maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Delegate responsibilities effectively while maintaining quality control and accountability.
- Contribute to department processes, workflows, and best practices to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Direct campaign launches through detailed targeting, creative assets, budgets, and timelines, ensuring accuracy and quality throughout the planning, launch, and reporting process.
- Maintain financial accuracy and accountability, confirming alignment across approved client budgets.
- Align internal teams and external partners around client goals, timelines, deliverables, and expectations.
