Overview:
We are seeking Bartenders for evenings and weekends to join our dynamic team at Smoketown Brewing, an established Brewery/Restaurant in Brunswick. As a key member of our service staff, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service, mixing cocktails, and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including craft beer, cocktails and wine, in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to health and safety standards
- Manage cash register, POS system, and handle cash transactions accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting and serving guests
- Work effectively as part of a team to deliver seamless service
- Demonstrate proficiency in using POS and cash register systems
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our beverage menu and wine list
- Engage with guests to build relationships and ensure a positive dining experience
- Collaborate with the management team to improve service and increase customer satisfaction
Experience:
- Experience in bartending, craft beer, or related fields
- Familiarity with a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of beverage service and mixology
- Experience with cash register systems and POS systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage time efficiently
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding guest expectations
