Production Supervisor
Location: Claycomo, MO
Pay: $37.94+ per hour
Fully Onsite | Overtime Available | Afternoon Shift
We are hiring a Production Supervisor for a temporary opportunity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This leadership role is ideal for candidates with experience in production supervision, manufacturing operations, team leadership, workforce management, and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and support hourly production employees to achieve daily safety, quality, and productivity goals.
- Organize workflows, monitor production schedules, and ensure efficient manufacturing operations.
- Coach employees on standardized work practices, safety procedures, and quality expectations.
- Identify and resolve production issues while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build strong working relationships with employees, leadership, and union representatives.
- Maintain compliance with workplace policies, procedures, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Track performance metrics and drive team accountability to meet operational objectives.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience and/or manufacturing experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work rotating schedules, including afternoons, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Experience in manufacturing operations, production processes, lean principles, or continuous improvement is preferred.
- Ability to remain professional and effective in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
