Machine Operator job description
? Establish a balance between increased productivity
? Control and Adjust machine settings (speed)
? Test operation of machines periodically
? Ensure that the same type of food items is stored together
? inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
? Fix issues that might occur during the shift
? Keeping machines dirt free at all times
? production machinery must shut down before unclogging (LOTO)
? Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
? Maintain activity productivity logs
? Ensure that food products are processes and prepared by following standards of cleanliness and hygiene
? Perform preventative and general maintenance on food production equipment
? Clean equipment and floors to ensure a safe working environment
? Perform duties on the production lines by loading and adjusting items
? Label packaged food items appropriately
? Monitor quality and quantity of food items
? Checking and controlling the equipment that cuts the cucumbers
? Adjusting the momentum of the conveyor belt if required
? When problems arise with the production procedure, you would discontinue the machine and report the fault to a manager or engineer.
