Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Office Admin / Book Keeper to join our team part-time! Duties
- Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries using accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar systems
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and summaries in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other applicable standards
- Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and payroll laws
- Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to ensure data integrity
- Maintain organized records of financial transactions, supporting documentation, and audit trails for internal review or external audits
- Assist with budgeting processes, financial forecasting, and expense tracking to support organizational planning
- Support administrative functions such as managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, maintaining spreadsheets for data tracking, and handling general office duties
Requirements
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles with a strong understanding of accounting concepts such as debits & credits, journal entries, double entry bookkeeping, and account reconciliation
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, or similar platforms; experience with financial software like Spreadsheets is essential
- Strong technical skills in bank reconciliation, account analysis, general ledger management, and financial report writing
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of payroll processing procedures and tax compliance requirements
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams and departments
