Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Electromechanical Assembly Technician. Duties are Assembling and wiring electrical panels from schematics through subassembly, assembly, testing, and finishing processes, including Final-Out and Gage R&R.
Essential Functions:
Set up, install, and troubleshoot electrical panels and associated computer software and hardware using Microsoft Windows operating systems.
- Assemble, troubleshoot, acceptance-test, and finish electro-mechanical components and assemblies using written work instructions, including engineering drawings, assembly procedures, acceptance test procedures, and engineering or industry specifications.
- Perform system Gage R&R testing and transfer results to Quality Control using Microsoft Excel.
- Use required tools and equipment properly and safely when assembling and testing components and subsystems.
- Meet department productivity goals by following established priorities and procedures and using effective time management.
- Use required technical information and accurately document work on appropriate records. Ensure inspection tools and equipment are in good working order and properly calibrated while performing job duties.
- Support team projects by sharing ideas, suggesting process improvements, collaborating with other departments, and building positive working relationships.
- Initiate stock requisitions as needed for assigned work.
- Follow all company safety requirements and guidelines.
- Work efficiently within production time standards to meet deadlines and contribute to team success with a positive attitude.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet customer needs.
Competencies:
- Read, write legibly, and understand English; perform basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Able to read and build from schematics
- Proficient with software and hardware
- Demonstrate mechanical, electrical, and overall technical aptitude.
- Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Associate Degree in technical field
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
