Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our team. This role supports the dental provider in delivering high-quality care while ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for patients. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment
Duties
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Take and record patient medical histories and vital signs
- Capture dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed
- Provide patients with pre- and post-operative instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
- Support front office tasks as needed, including scheduling and patient communication
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Dental experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and team members.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in a clinical setting.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment
