Part-Time CPR & First Aid Instructor (Independent Contractor)
Gama CPR is looking for experienced CPR/First Aid Instructors to join our team. We provide CPR training for individuals, healthcare professionals, schools, and organizations. We are seeking reliable instructors who are passionate about teaching life-saving skills and comfortable working with different types of groups.
Requirements (Must Have)
- Availability to teach at least 2 classes per week during business hours
- Reliable transportation (own vehicle required)
- Valid driver’s license
- Must have your own CPR training equipment, including:
- 6 Adult CPR manikins
- 6 Infant/Baby CPR manikins
- 6 AED trainers
- (or be willing to purchase the required equipment)
- Current CPR Instructor certification through:
- American Red Cross (ARC) or
- American Heart Association (AHA)
Responsibilities
- Conduct CPR, First Aid, AED, and BLS training classes for individuals and groups
- Teach participants how to respond effectively during emergency situations
- Demonstrate proper CPR, First Aid, and life-saving techniques
- Use engaging teaching methods to create a positive learning experience
- Answer questions and provide guidance to participants
- Evaluate participant understanding and skills performance
- Maintain a professional, safe, and organized classroom environment
- Follow certification organization guidelines and training standards
Qualifications & Experience
- Current CPR/First Aid/AED/BLS Instructor certification required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups
- Ability to explain concepts clearly and professionally
- Experience teaching, training, coaching, or public speaking is preferred
- Knowledge of CPR techniques and current first aid guidelines
- Ability to manage a classroom and keep students engaged
