Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista / Server to join our team. As a Server/wine specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and upselling food and beverage. If you have a passion for food, wine, and the Italian culture while working in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent customer service skills, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Take customer orders and process payments using cash registers or point of sale systems.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Answer questions about our Italian food and selection.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of the house area
- Follow all health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation
- Upsell additional products or menu items to customers
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred
- Strong knowledge of food and wine varieties
- Excellent sales and customer service skills
- Ability to operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Basic food preparation skills
- Exceptional time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
