Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dog Handler and Cleaning Professional to join our team. This role involves caring for and handling dogs, maintaining cleanliness of the facility, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for both pets and staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care, excellent customer service skills, and experience working with animals in a professional setting. Responsibilities
- Handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Assist with dog training activities to promote good behavior and obedience
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas by cleaning and disinfecting regularly
- Assist with heavy lifting when moving supplies, equipment, or large animals within the facility
- Prior experience in dog handling, pet grooming, or animal care is a plus
- Kennel experience or background working in animal shelters or veterinary clinics is beneficial
- Skills in dog training, animal restraint, and pet care are a plus
- Customer service experience related to pet care environments is a plus
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
